What are my transfer options from the airport to the hotel?
Our hotel does not have shuttle service.
Nevertheless, if you wish, we are able to book a taxi for you with an extra cost.
Or, if you desire, you are able to use a taxi from the airport of Kalamata.
There is a taxi stand wright outside the arrival terminal of the airport.

Also, you are able to rent a vehicle once here in the resort via an outside associate

Directions & other useful info By car: Take the road to Kalamata. Reaching the town follow the signs "to the beach" until you reach Navarinou Str. Go East on this seaside road, and our hotel is at the end of the road/beach.

Taxi
You are able to get a taxi. The taxi drivers know were our hotel is located. It is a 15 minutes ride.
Bus
Directions & other useful info Take bus No 1 from the centre of the town and get off at the last stop (Filoxenia).

Pre-payment is required in order to guarantee reservations. How far ahead the payment is required and how far ahead you can cancel the reservation free of charge will depend on your stay dates and the offer under which you have booked.

What is the covid-related cancellation policy of the resort?
Under the below circumstances, will waive the cancellation charges and the deposit we have received can be used towards a future stay with the dates subject to blackout periods and availability.
1. If there is an official travel warning for the destination advising no travel to Kalamata.
2. The guest’s point of origin or the destination is in lock-down.
3. If a guest tests positive for COVID-19 prior to arrival guaranteed by official test results.
4. Airline schedule changes (and subsequent reservation amendments)
5. Due to health or quarantine restrictions at guests point of departure or at the hotel destination that restrict client from traveling to the resort destination,

How do I pay for my reservation?
Once your reservation is complete, the reservations team will send you a secure online payment link though which you can settle the payment via your credit card. Alternatively, we do accept bank transfers as well.

Credit card/Debit Card payment as well as Cash payments are accepted . As for credit cards VISA, American Express, MasterCard, and Diners club are accepted. For Cash payments, Euros (up to 500€ are accepted)

Shared luxury transfers are scheduled in line with international flight arrival times to    Airport “Captain Vasilis Constantakopoulos”.

How can Kalamata Town be reached?
•    There is a local bus station, out side at the gate of the hotel, which goes at the center of the town every 15-30 minutes .Take bus No 1 from the centre of the town and get off at the last stop (Filoxenia).
•    Taxi order is available 24/7 at the reception (waiting time from 10 - 30 minutes)
•    With a rental car/motorbike, available option at the concierge desk/upon request

Pool bar The Pool bar is ideal for light local dishes, snacks, sandwiches, seasonal salads and freshly made drinks. Ipanema Beach Bar Chill out with refreshing drinks and snacks from the beach bar.

NOTE: Half board includes breakfast and dinner in the hotel’s main restaurant. Half Board guests who wish to dine à la carte instead of taking their pension meal will be given a price reduction on their food bill.

BAR
Pool Bar There is an extensive range of beers, wines and spirits to satisfy any taste. Ipanema Beach Bar International (labels) and domestic alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. (Note: drinks at Ipanema Beach Bar are at extra charge).

New 2023 Vegan / Vegetarian / Gluten Free options, as well as Vegan and BIO wines available in all restaurants.

What are the meal options for Children?
Children below 12 years can dine for free at the Tasty Corner Lunch from 12:30-14:00
All Restaurants have available Kids Menus. Children aged over 12 years old are considered as adults.

Do you have Baby food meal plan?
0-1 toddlers will have arranged their baby food as you wish. Please contact the Restaurant Manager or your Guest Relations Manager to order in advance. Our staff is happy to lend a hand with warming baby bottles or baby food. 

Is there any dress code for the Restaurants?
We follow a resort-casual dress code during dinner time at all our restaurants. 
Swimwear and flip-flops are discouraged at all our restaurants.

Regarding the food requirements,our staff can inform our kitchen and restaurant  in order to have products gluten free/no lactose or vegan food and our restaurant and kitchen staff can point out which of the items at the buffet are suitable.

Is it possible to enter my room prior to check-in?
If the room is unoccupied, the hotel may approve earlier entrance. However, if you are planning to arrive early in the morning and you want to ensure that the room is ready, we suggest that you book an additional overnight prior to your arrival.

May I use the Hotel’s Facilities before my check-in or after my check-out?
All the Hotel’s Facilities are available to be used by the time you arrive in the hotel.

If I arrive before my check-in time, can I drop my bag somewhere?
Grecotel Filoxenia  provides you a luggage area where you can safely store your luggage and personal belongings.

Is it possible to have a confirmed late check out?
A day before your departure a late check out may be confirmed at the reception. There are different options with applicable charges to choose according to the availability the resort shall have. However, if you are planning to depart rather late and you want to ensure that the room would be possible to be kept, we suggest that you book in advance an overnight with your reservation.

What is the environmental tax am I obligated to pay it?
An environmental fee, defined as Climate Crisis Resilience Fee, of €7,00 per room per night is applicable by law, payable by the guest directly at the hotel upon check out.

Can we have twin beds or Sea View of the Main Building?
Yes,twin beds or sea view rooms  are available upon request. Kindly inform us about your wish prior your arrival.

Is there a coffee or tea in the room?
Tea & Coffee Facilities upon request  .

What is the size of the extra bed?
All our extra beds are 1.90 cm in length accommodate an extra person should the room occupancy allows to be accommodated.

Can you confirm a certain room number or location?
A request can be made once the reservation is confirmed. We shall do our utmost to accommodate the request as per availability.

How far are the rooms from the Beach?
Are located a few steps away from the main beach.a

Does the hotel provide Iron & Ironing board in the room?
Iron and ironing boards are available for our guests and can be delivered in their room for a limited length of time for security reasons.

Is there a safety deposit box in the room?
All room types offer a safety deposit box.

Is there an exchange office at the reception desk?
No, you may exchange cash notes at the center of the town.

Is there an ATM machine in the hotel premises?
There is not an ATM machine in the hotel

Is the hotel accessible to Mobility Impaired Guests?
Not all departments are accessible to guests in wheelchairs. However, there are ramp sections beside most of the steps in the hotel.

Do we have to book the spa in advance?
It is recommended to book Elixir Beauty Spa treatments a week in advance in order to guarantee the preferred timing.

Do you have a salon at the SPA?
We do have a salon at the Elixir Beauty Spa.

Do you have a Sauna, do I have to book?
We do have 1 sauna room in our Elixir Spa and a reservation prior is required. 

Do you have a Gym?
We have a very well-equipped gym.

Do you have a medical facility?
We do have a public hospital ,along with an assigned 24/7 on call doctor(extra charge).

KIDS CLUB

Do you have a kid’s club?
We have a very well-equipped Children’s creative and educational facility called Grecoland.

What age is allowed in the kid’s club?
Children between ages of 04 – 12 years old will have complimentary access to the Grecoland kids club. Children who are 3-years old and below will also have access to the Grecoland kids club with the presence of a parent or a guardian. Alternatively, babysitting service can be booked for children who are 3-years old and below.

What Types of Water Sports Activities do you have?
As a hotel we do not provide water sports.
There is a company near the hotel usually every year from 10 June to 15 September, but we cannot guarantee that for 2024 yet
